Shot for my small format class for an assignment on baseball.

It's to be my "americana" shot, that is if I don't get one that works better for the assignment.

Her name is Courtney.
She was nice enough to blow a bubble for me.

Oh yeah! That bokeh is preeettayy!! If I do say so myself.

Well I like it anyway.

Our assignment was pretty much just "bokeh."
Instructions: Go out and make bokeh.
Yeah, so I did. And LOTS of it.

I used a book I got from an old bookstore that was published in 1874.

It's absolutely beautiful!

A collection of poems on flowers, and all the print is in gold!

Man, we sure don't make them like that anymore. At least not unless you pay hundreds of dollars to have it custom made for you.

I wish.

Fabric is preeettyyy...

My non-studio shot for my fabric assignment.

Honestly I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Pretty much exactly how it looked in my head. ;)

And you can't really go wrong with a nice red lipstick!

Oh yeah I think I'm getting the hang of these letters.

ABC's again.
I think by now I have them down better than a 5 year old.
I toned each one separately in Lightroom 3 to achieve this look.
No overall toning for me, gotta make it hard on myself.
But I like it.

Oh yeah New Watermark!

I finally got myself a watermark.
Took me forever to get it right but I like it, I have a few versions of it for different occasions but I think it fits.

Also, a side note;
Wish I had found this guy for my eyes assignment!
One green eye, one blue!
So awesome.
But he's a stranger so he counts for another assignment! ;)

To me "downtown" always says tattoos and piercings. I think I found a great one.

Parks and Recreation

So the assignment was themed parks and recreation, how better to do that than to have a kid in a park?

And just so happened the cat wanted in too.
